En-hui
Pron: Ehn-hwi

Age: Immortal
Gender: Male
Race [Ethnicity]: Chi'en [Tsang-rin]
Occupation: Duke of En
Title: Immortal Duke
History:

A youth of sixteen summers, holding an eternal vigil over the world. He is at once a majestic presence, and also a friend to all he meets. Adored by the citizens of En, he is often looked upon as a father figure, or would be if not for his boyish stature. He is often referred to as Hsing-shih — Flourishing Master, an allusion to his status as both eternally young but highly accomplished.

As a statesman, he is nearly peerless, a superb ruler who turned a wasteland ruled by violent tribes into a flourishing province under the Tsang banner. He answers only to the emperor, and is often called on as prime council in matters of war and peace. His own army, the guard of En province, is assembled not only from humans, but ganas, kuai-shi, and other superanimals tamed by his influence. Indeed, he appears to be a divine being of a sort, and is thought of some as near to a deity.

In truth however, En-hui has never desired to be a god, only to serve Heaven's purpose. He is an enlightened man of a fashion, charged with keeping a watchful eye over the land when danger slithers out of the shadows. He and four others like him are called Precepts, each of them upholding a specific responsibility. For En-hui, it is rulership, and he is often viewed as the leader of the five.
