Sinuhe Mentuhotep
Pron: Sin · Oo · hay ~ Men · Too · Hoh · Tep

Age: Early 70's
Gender: Male
Race [Ethnicity]: Vinar [Tsulu]
Occupation: Leader of the Ibis Clan
Title(s): Clan Heir Apparent
History:

Sinuhe had always been a quiet child, third son of Kanakht Mentuhotep and an undesirable burden on his family. Although cared for by his aunt Nefertari, he was outcaste by his siblings and treated coldly by both parents. He was frail — unlike his strong brothers — had poor eyesight, and had no prospects of being a leader. Were he an Aryan child, he might have been drowned at childbirth, but the Vinar had no such cruel custom.

It is ironic then that Sinuhe's first strengths awakened because of their retisence towards him. Often isolated at home, he stole away into the city whenever possible to mingle with the populace. His elder brothers by contrast were too busy learning about politics and clan hierarchy to do such "menial" things.

The Ibis clan had forbidden that princes go into the public venues, ever since the late Prince Osorkon had been assassinated by a rival tribe three generations ago. Yet no one prevented the young, undesired Sinuhe from doing as he pleased, and thus he came to know of the common person's suffering and befriend many of his would-be subjects.

In 439 TY, the Kriegbesonnenheit came. While the war in the Nordelands was ongoing, the Krieg had turned its eyes on Vinar as a reliable source of food and mineral supplies. While the Vinar tribes discussed their response, the Krieg took the opportunity to encroach on Ibis territory, burning two villages and launching a siege on the main city.

The siege lasted only a few days, ill prepared as the Vinar were to recieve their Nordec enemies. Both of Sinuhe's elder brothers were killed, and both his parents taken hostage by the attacking force's leader: General Drei Ronfuar.

It then suddenly fell upon Sinuhe to lead.
